Stride Benchmarks

Stride Benchmarks are built to connect company data quality to revenue impact. They show whether account data is accurate enough to guide segmentation, prioritisation, routing, territory planning, and expansion decisions.

Insights

We see stronger performance in the Footprint-Account-Impact benchmark than in the Accuracy benchmark because the two measures answer different questions. Accuracy measures the raw distance between a provider's value and the reference value. Account Impact measures whether that difference would actually change how a GTM team segments, prioritises, or treats the account.

This distinction matters because not every numerical error is commercially meaningful. For example, if a company has 4,000 employees and a provider reports 1,500, that would represent a large raw error and would likely fail an accuracy test. But if both values still place the company into the same enterprise treatment band, the account-level decision may remain unchanged. In that case, the provider is wrong in absolute terms but not necessarily wrong in a way that changes the GTM motion. This is why Account Impact is more forgiving, but also why it is often the more practical benchmark for evaluating whether data is decision-grade.
